Humboldt City Board Minutes

The Humboldt City Board met in special session on Monday, September 19^th, 2005. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Allen Schmeichel at 6:05 p.m. Trustees present were Larry Skari and Theresa Muth.

A motion was made by Schmeichel and seconded by Muth to amend the agenda to include the Maintenance Building. The motion carried.

Improvements to the Maintenance Building were discussed. Due to time constraints, advertising for bids for the minimal amount of work to winterize the building was discussed. Items that would need to be done include enclosing the remaining old garage door area and place a 2 x 4 window in the area, replace two windows on the east side and one window on the west side, adjust the size of the windows and raise them further from the ground, wall in boarded up window and door on the east side. A motion was made by Schmeichel and seconded by Muth to advertise for bids for the above listed items, with the bids to be opened at the October 11^th, regular meeting. The motion carried.

The ECSI property was discussed.

The second reading for the 2006 Budget Ordinance O-09-12-05-02 was held. After review and discussion, a motion was made by Muth and seconded by Skari to approve the 2006 Budget Ordinance. (E-mail attached)

The second reading of Sewer Rates Ordinance H-09-12-05-01 was held. After review, a motion was made by Schmeichel and seconded by Skari to approve the second reading of the Sewer Rates Ordinance. The motion carried. (E-mail attached)

With no further business, a motion was made by Muth and seconded by Skari to adjourn the meeting at 6:20 p.m. The motion carried.
