Humboldt City Board Minutes

The Humboldt City board met in special session on Friday, August 12^th, 2005. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Allen Schmeichel at 5:15 p.m. Trustee present was Larry Skari. Theresa Muth was absent.

The maintenance building was discussed.

The utility manager received a quote for magnesium chloride for Ford Street from 2^nd Ave to the Bus road at the school. The quote was for 4600 gallons at $0.59 per gallon or $2714.00. The amount of gallons is a whole load which would allow the additional streets of Washington from 2^nd Ave to HWY 38 and 1^st Ave to HWY 38 to also be completed. A motion was made by Skari and seconded by Schmeichel to approve the purchase of the magnesium chloride for $2714.00. The motion carried.

With no further business, a motion was made by Skari and seconded by Schmeichel to adjourn the meeting at 5:30 p.m. The motion carried.
